Amazon Web Service has gone through a large outage, which has affected users that vary from websites to software providers.
A spokesperson from AWS said, “Kinesis has been experiencing increased error rates this morning in our US-East-1 Region that’s impacted some other AWS services. We are working toward a resolution.”
Amazon Kinesis is a part of AWS’ cloud offerings, collects, processes and analyzes real-time and provides insights.
Roku, the video-streaming device maker, Adobe’s Spark platform, Fliker and Baltimore Sun newspaper are some of the papers which have been affected by the outage.
“We are experiencing intermittent issues with our website and publishing system because of the AWS outage,” the newspaper said on Twitter.
Amazon’s cloud service business has been doing well due to the rise in demand from companies that are moving towards virtual offices because of the coronavirus.
The AWS sales that come from data storage and computing power in the cloud have risen by 29% in the third quarter.
