Amazon Web Services announces its accessibility of AWS Network Firewall to its Australian customers.
Network Firewall is an AWS-managed service which will help to make the release of essential network protections a lot simpler for Amazon Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs).
The services will let users define the rules of firewall in order to let them have fine-grained control over network traffic, like stopping outbound Server Message Block (SMB) requests.
It will also work along with AWS Firewall Manager where users will be able to develop policies which are based on AWS Network Firewall rules and will mainly pertain to all VPCs and accounts.
A few of the features will comprise of a stateful firewall, which is an intrusion prevention system as well as a web filtering service.
AWS has 13 technology partners with AWS Network Firewall integration, as well as Check Point, CrowdStrike, Splunk and others, while the two consulting partners with integration are Accenture and IBM.
