Apple unveiled its iOS 14.3 beta 1, and even though users know about the soon to come headphones, AirPods Studio, there seems to be a new product in the newest version of OS. It says that this new version has support for AirTags item tracker. Videos and images of AirTags being set up had surfaced. There is also a hidden section in ‘Find My’ app named ‘Hawkeye’ which has been created for AirTags and for third party devices like Tile.
The soon to come AirTags will work on U1 Ultra Wideband chips, which can also be seen in an iPhone 11 and an iPhone 12. This will be helpful for tracking items correctly when they are linked to AirTags. Offline tracking will also be much better when used through Bluetooth.
When “Lost Mode” has been enabled, iPhone users can scan an AirTag when it is connected, they can also scan it to receive the owner’s number so that it can be given back to the user.
Even though it might be a while before this product becomes public, AirPods Studio has been getting a lot of traction from fans. This is the company’s first headphone series ever. Supposedly, this will also come in two versions, where one of it is made with plastic and metal and will be cheaper than the leather version. This can also be seen on the ‘Find My’ app.
