Cisco Webex announces the availability of its real-time translation feature, which can be accessed starting this month. Users of Webex can observe real-time translations from English to over 100 languages in real-time.
Users will be able to develop their own personalised Webex meeting experience by choosing the languages they want. There are a lot of different languages such as Arabic, Dutch, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Russian and Spanish, Danish, Hindi, Malay, Turkish, Vietnamese and more.
Users will be able to engage better in meetings and communicate with more efficiency. This feature will be very helpful as a majority of the world has been working remotely and using video conferencing as a way to talk to people.
Cisco’s research shows that 24% of the people who were a part of the study, were non-English speaking native speakers, and over half of these participants have been using third-party services in order to translate the meetings into their language, which costs around $172 for each meeting.
The feature is accessible is preview form from this month onwards, while it will be available generally in May.
