Reports say that Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai have come up as high demand spots for recruiting talent in the e-commerce segment.
The report also said that it is based on a survey of 5,000 employees from the company and traditional industries that have jobs in more than 100 roles. Other than that, 25 e-commerce players also played a part in the survey too.
These three places in India, have been coming up, and on average makes up for 53% of the complete demand, when it comes to building up demand for the best in e-Commerce, the Catenon India ‘Decoding Talent in E-commerce Report 2021’.
The other places that are developing as a new recruitment frontier for the company e-commerce are Indore, Kochi and Coimbatore.

He said, the COVID-19 pandemic has drastically changed the advancement of e-commerce, where ‘staying in’ is not the new ‘going out’.
“Needless to say, this boom will lead to the need for an adequately equipped workforce that organisations need to start building upon,” he added.
The report also showed that one of the jobs that are the most popular is the product management roles, that have the highest salaries and also have the biggest hike in yearly compensation for even more years inexperience. Analytical thinking is also a skill that is common throughout the top roles in e-commerce.
