Google Calendar now includes features and add-ons for Google Maps. The Google Maps icon will now be on the right side, under the Google Keep and Google Tasks icons. The map icon will bring up the map, along with the search option as well as the ‘Recent’ and ‘Saved’ tabs on the bottom. The search bar will bring up the ‘Groceries’, ‘Takeout’ and ‘Hotels’ options. 

The Google Map add-on and Google Map both include similar search functions. Along with the searched locations, a carousel image will appear at the bottom, that will show the images of the location that was searched for by a user. The location can also be saved into Google Maps from Calendar and its link can also be copied.

For now, the feature is only available for personal Google Accounts, and not on Google Workspace.

The company has been relaunched its G Suite recently by changing online productivity and collaboration tools such as Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Meet to Google Workspace. New logos were assigned to apps such as Calendar, Google Meet, Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Docs.
