A top manager at Huawei in Germany has appealed to its government not to push it out of building 5G mobile networks. Talks regarding this came after the UK has made the decision to eject the Chinese product from its network based on the grounds of national security.

UK Chancellor Angela Merkel’s government has postponed making this decision based on tougher certification rules for a couple of months, as a lot of persuasions came from a couple of lawmakers that seem to side with the US decision to completely ban Huawei.

David Wang, a Huawei representative from Germany said, “The government’s approach of setting the same, tough security criteria for all is the right way to ensure networks are secure.”
