IBM’s public cloud has been added to Ingram Micro’s own Cloud Marketplace.
The partnership will have above 190 IBM cloud products and services and contains storage, compute, AI, IoT and blockchain, which will be sold through Ingram.
It will also be releasing two other IBM SaaS projects, which are device management suite MaaS360 and data-crunching tool IBMSPSS.
Ingram’s ANZ director of cloud services Lee Welch, said: “We’re delighted to be among the first to offer the IBM Cloud’s products and services directly to the Australian channel community via Marketplace.”
“Among the first of our resellers to benefit will be those with customers with complex VMware workloads that are considering a move to the cloud. This can be easily achieved due to the flexibility, control and security of running these services on IBM Cloud.”
Ingram Micro will be a supportive partner along with IBM Cloud, as the company has wide market reach, committed to providing resellers and in-house expertise, IBM ANZ’s head of cloud platform, Anthone Withers said.
A wide range of Microsoft cloud services is already being provided by Ingram’s Cloud Marketplace, as well as many from Acronis, Symantec, Cisco, Trend Micro, Dropbox, and many more.
