Infosys won a long term contract from ArcelorMittal for the digital transformation of the European operations of the world’s biggest steel developer. Infosys will provide application management and business process management (BPM) services to ArcelorMittal. The deal value has not yet been revealed.
Infosys will also set up a Business Process Management (BPM) service in ArcelorMittal Europe’s Business Center of Excellence (BCoE) shared services centre. The partnership will make Infosys a lot stronger in Europe and will allow the company to strengthen synergies throughout the ArcelorMittal Group around the world.

European firms have been escalating their outsourcing to Indian companies like Infosys, TCS and Wipro as they hope to cut down on costs while enhancing their productivity and allowing their companies to move to digital.
