ITI Limited, which is state-run, has released the cloud services and solutions platform for the central and state government organisations, banks, public sector undertakings, as well as smaller and medium-sized firms and start-ups in India.
The Bangalore based firm had said, “ The newly – launched cloud services include Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS) and Storage as a Service (STaaS).”
The new cloud facility is presumed to attain optimum infrastructure utilisation and to fasten the development and deployment of multiple of ICT-IoT related applications for consumers.
This initiative will also help government and non-government enterprises to produce ICT services on demand.
K Alagesan, the chairman of ITI Limited said, “ITI has been in the data centre business for the last 10 years with government organisations and private companies. The new cloud service offered by ITI data centre is expected to provide end-to-end IT infrastructure including new-age cloud services to all its customers in the coming years.”
According to Alagesan, this program also shows ITI’s commitment to India’s flagship initiatives, such as Digital India, Make in India and Smart City. He had also mentioned earlier, that the company is continuously improving infrastructure and coming out with a robust mechanism to strengthen telecommunication technology development in India.
Chief Executive of ITI Connectivity Solutions, Narasimha Murthy, had said, “With the commoditization of cloud, we can utilize ITI’s experience and make available the cloud services to the masses.”
