The company’s blog had announced the release of the Premium edition, while Azure Network team’s program managers had highlighted some of the new editions most noteworthy features.
One of these new features includes a signature-based intrusion detection and prevention system (IDPS) which will keep a lookout for certain patterns, such as byte sequences with network traffic.
It will also develop upon a few Azure Firewall features which will boost their usability.
User will also be able to configure the latest features, exclusively through the Firewall Policy resource, rather than using Azure Firewall Manager.
