Oracle CEO Safra Katz, believes that accepting the newest development in data and cloud technologies can put your business at the top of its game.
Katz spoke at the Oracle OpenWorld Europe event that large technological advances offer the company the ability to bring customers up to speed with the latest systems very quickly.
“Though all transformations start, the truest transformation never ends. As new technologies become available, they allow companies to bring them in and leverage them for greater strength, better customer understanding and better financial and employee decisions,” she said.
Katz also added that the size of the company does not matter in any industry, but digital transformation is still a very pivotal component.
Oracle has been ready from the start to embrace the capability of the cloud, and reconstructed its complete product line 20 years ago to prepare for the shift cloud technology has accomplished.
“We are in a position where…we feel like an overnight success 15 years in the making. We had to change our whole company for the cloud…it’s now our job to serve you, so we build our systems knowing that we will run them for you,” Katz announced.
She also added on the number of benefits Oracle Cloud customers are offered, which includes updates to the company’s services every 90 days.
“If you’re not getting new updates every 90 days, you’re not really in the cloud,” she said. “We’ve sped up the clock…things that would take weeks, now take an hour.”
“Our real mission is to have you benefit from these services, so you can dedicate your time to what makes you better,” she added.
