Spirit Technology Solutions has taken over Intalock, a Brisbane-based security service, for $15 million.
Intalock focuses on security services as well as advisory, assessment, technical services and managed services and response. Intalock also manages a security operations centre.
The company’s vendor partner also contains Splunk, Crowdsrtike, Mimecast, Microsoft Azure and many more, while also including a few “bluechip” corporate and government clients.
This takeover will boost Spirit’s share in the corporate and government markets along with its plans to grow now and in the future.
They will also be able to cross-sell and supply package deal security services which include data, cloud and voice.
Spirit managing director Sol Lukatsky said, “The Intalock acquisition brings a highly sophisticated cybersecurity offering. A number of esteemed cybersecurityS leaders from Intalock will join Spirit, along with a blue-chip customer base under the Spirit umbrella.
“It propels Spirit into a new segment of the market and positions us as a credible contender for market share in the enterprise and government segment and enhances the cybersecurity offering for our existing customers.”
“We couldn’t be prouder and more excited to join Sol and the Spirit team,” Julian Haber, Intalock chief executive said.
“Their 2021 strategy for Spirit Technology Solutions is very unique and we can’t wait to help Spirit scale quickly as Spirit shareholders. We’re already working on a number of large corporate opportunities together.”
