Twitter is coming out with Spaces, which is an audio chat feature, and will also choose Android users around the world, as well as India.
Prior to this, the social media platform had been running tests on the Clubhouse-like feature for iPhones.
As the feature is accessible on Andoird, a lot more users will have access to the feature, mainly in a market such as India which is monopolized by Android devices.
A Twitter Spaces tweet said, “Android folks, our beta is growing! starting today you will be able to join and talk in any Space. SOON you’ll be able to create your own but we’re still working out some things. keep your Eyes out for live Spaces above your home tl.”
In India, Twitter has around 1.75 crore users.
Clubhouse, which is an invite-only platform, has recently been made accessible for iOS users only and has been gaining a lot of traction. The platform lets its users use voice chats instead of tests and it has shown that the app has surpassed 10 million downloads worldwide.
